The following are examples of content or actions not permitted or that will need approval by the site team:
- Using another persons pictures or text without the other persons express permission.
- Publishing contact information of any person without their permission.
- Harassment of others.
- Placing published content in the wrong category (miscategorization).
- Publishing more than one identical piece of content concurrently.
- Using intellectual property without the property owners express permission, where applicable.
- Encouraging, promoting, facilitating, or instructing others to engage in illegal activity or to violate community policy.
- Enabling, encouraging, or instructing others to infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
- Promoting giveaways, lotteries, random drawings, raffles, or prizes of any kind unless for clearly defined community benefit and approved by the community team.
- Using HTML and JavaScript functions prohibited by our host provider i,e, Cross Site Scripting, Forgery, SQL injection and other forms of abuse.
- Using keywords, random links, inaccurate titles, text, or other content not directly relevant to the subject of the community content for the purpose of gaining attention or diverting members to that content.
- Publishing content or images that are adult in nature or otherwise not appropriate for minors (individuals under 18 years of age).
- Linking to items, services, or content regarding activities of an illegal nature.
- Misrepresenting yourself as another individual or group.
- Publishing content that promotes or glorifies hatred, violence, racial, or religious intolerance, or content that promotes organizations with such views.
- Using profanity or patently vulgar language.
- Misusing the violation reporting function to maliciously or frivolously report content as not in compliance with community policy.
- Artificially increasing or decreasing any community content ratings.
Please recognize there may be situations and exceptions to some rules; but these must be approved by the community team and any other ruling bodies in advance.
Violations may result in a range of actions, including:
- Content removal
- Listing cancellation
- Forfeit of any fees on cancelled listings
- Limits on privileges
- Account suspension.
Ideas, Concerns, Complaints & Feedback
Please remember that this is a community site run by volunteers. There will be mistakes and unintentional errors. For us to continually improve this site we welcome your feedback. You can email any of your ideas, concerns, corrections to any member of the team. Helpful and positive suggestions are particularly welcome. You should expect an acknowledgement within 2-3 working days. Some resolutions and decisions may require a team meeting which is once a month, so a little patience may be required. Let us know if it is urgent and we will try our best to action it quickly.
