Mission
How we will accomplish our vision.
- Actively identify and encourage opportunities for collaboration
- Facilitate and encourage the sharing of information and ideas
- Create communication channels to improve the sharing of information between community groups and businesses
- Create a fantastic central hub to which people can come to easily obtain the information they are seeking on Dargaville; it's people, activities and surrounds
- Help identify areas where the community can improve, and help facilitate community projects and initiatives
Aim
Specific objectives.
- Use the web site as a framework for communication of community based information
- Continue developing a community team to maintain the site
- Identify what the community wants and continue to look at ways that a web site can be used to help meet these needs
- Focus on what will make this project a viable long term initiative
- Agree on the Vision, Mission, and Purpose and some initial objectives that are SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Timely)
Our Vision will inspire us and our Mission will guide us in the steps we take.
Just like a community - these objectives will change as the site and team grows and develops over time.
